Summary:
 

Charity is a hostess at the Fandango Ballroom and is ever-optimistic despite having her share of misfortunes with the men in her life. Directed and choreographed by Bob Fosse (in his feature directorial debut), Sweet Charity features music by Cy Coleman and Dorothy Fields (including the hit songs Big Spender and There's Gotta Be Something Better Than This) and stars Shirley MacLaine, Chita Rivera, Sammy Davis Jr. and Stubby Kaye. The film has costumes by Edith Head. Big, bright, brassy, and brazen, what's not to love?
